How rapid prototyping works

Short iterations.
Specific feedback.

During active development, a revision can last minutes. The useful discussion happens while reviewing the current app, with a named release and a repeatable action.

  1. Try it in the app.

Use a real part, cut or project and identify the exact step.

  2. Record what works and what does not.

Separate an observed issue from a requested new capability.

  3. Refine the workflow.

Keep effective steps; simplify or change the ones that create friction.

  4. Check and publish a staged release.

Staging allows checks before a change goes live and helps minimize repeated work.

Review files remain review files. Native SolidWorks acceptance, physical scale and fit, artwork approval and manufacturing release require their own checks. Manufacturing HOLD remains. Original engineering files and revision history remain in Google Drive. CAD workflow · SolidWorks setup · Herrman animation
