GO3D MAKER · design to physical part

Choose how to
make your design.

Request a print through GO3D, or take your selected design to Xometry for additive manufacturing, CNC machining and rapid prototypes.

Start with a quote. Choose the file and revision you want reviewed. Your current project and original geometry stay unchanged. Production begins only after the quote, design checks and project approval.

GO3D managed

Print through GO3D MAKER

Ask GO3D to review the file, recommend the process and material, and arrange printing and finishing. Available equipment, capacity, price and delivery are confirmed in your quote.

Choose GO3D below for a brief you can paste into your existing project request.

Quote through Xometry

Use Xometry’s browser quote workflow for 3D printing, CNC milling/turning and prototypes. Choose your process, material, quantity and finish, then review their feedback and quotation.

You upload the selected original file directly to Xometry. This page does not transmit it or place an order.

Industrial printer options

These are purchase and service options to evaluate. GO3D does not need to own every listed machine to arrange a supplier quote.

Large sculptures / body sections

BigRep ONE.5X

A 1005 × 1005 × 1005 mm build volume offers room to evaluate many 36-inch designs as larger prints. Actual fit depends on orientation, supports, clearances and the complete model envelope.

Large engineering parts

BigRep ALTRA 280

High-temperature industrial printing for tooling and engineering polymers. Ask for the exact machine/material combination, including reinforced grades where qualified.

Manufacturer specifications ↗
Carbon / nylon composites

Markforged FX10

Evaluate Onyx nylon with chopped carbon fiber and supported continuous-fiber reinforcement for fixtures, brackets and functional prototypes. Chopped fiber and continuous reinforcement serve different requirements.

Industrial reinforced nylon

Stratasys F900

Evaluate the Nylon 12CF configuration for reinforced engineering components. Material compatibility, layer orientation and the tested load case belong in the supplier quote.

Printer and supported materials ↗
Color + surface appearance

Stratasys J850 Prime

Full-color, multi-material PolyJet for detailed appearance models and presentation pieces. This resin process is a separate choice from structural carbon/nylon printing.

Print or machine without buying

GO3D-managed printing or Xometry can quote one-off prototypes and repeat parts. Compare the actual quote and samples before committing to industrial equipment.

How Xometry works ↗

All models, materials and configurations require a current supplier quote. Printer size alone does not establish surface quality, dimensional accuracy or readiness for the clock mechanism.

Choose the right manufacturing file.

CNC: use reviewed STEP or native solid CAD with a dimensioned drawing for critical features. 3D printing: use an accepted solid or watertight mesh and confirm scale. Full color: preserve supported 3MF color data or OBJ, MTL and textures; STL carries no color textures.

The quote website works independently of Bill’s SOLIDWORKS 2021 installation. Verify current add-in compatibility before installing a supplier add-in.
